For the west coast’s most competitive motocross racers, Spring Break was celebrated at the fifth annual FMF California Classic at Pala Raceway. With $50 Lucas Oil Holeshots in every class and every moto, Lucas Oil put up $7,000 in contingency over the course of the five-day event. Lucas Oil Pro Motocross ambassador Nicole D. Cesa joined Kevin Kelly of DMXS Radio on the podium to celebrate AMA Championships and Lucas Oil Holeshots in the race to crown the Holeshot King—the rider with the most holeshots at the end of the event.
It was a tight race for the Lucas Oil Holeshot King. Several riders were hot off the gate going home with multiple holeshot awards including Pierce Brown, Haiden Deegan, Ed Foedish, Levi Kitchen, Jo Shimoda, and Mitchell Falk.
But none could keep up with the #199 of Ryder Difrancesco with a whopping nine holeshots. Not only did he take home $450 in Lucas Cash, but also the Holeshot King Crown, fabricated out of stainless steel by Americore SMX.
The race for the next Lucas Oil Holeshot King will kick off at Mammoth Motocross on June 15-24, 2018 in Mammoth Lakes, California.
